Introduction to Education Guide
We can call an experience educational if it has a formative impact on the thought process or a person or if it influences the actions and feelings of the person. Education is often segregated into various stages like preschool, primary school, followed by secondary school. It then further progresses to include colleges, universities and apprenticeship as well.
Many governments recognize the right to education. Globally, Article 13 of the UN’s 1966 International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights identifies the right for all the people to attain education. Despite the fact that education is mandatory in majority of the nations up to a specific age, attending school is not compulsory and hence a small segment of parents opt for home schooling, e learning and other such ventures.
